| Chemistry class is your typical high school chemistry class that covers the topics that a student should be familiar with before college. Students are expected to have had Algebra I at a C or better level. This is a laboratory class designed for the Junior or highly motivated Sophomore. Anatomy & Physiology class is a college level class that covers the same material and labs as Andrews University's 1st and 2nd semester A&P classes. Students receive a total of 7 semester credits for the year on an Andrews University transcript. Students are typically seniors, and must have a B or better in Biology I. This class is for college credit, and students will purchase their text. Biology II is a second-year class which empasizes environmental studies. Students may receive up to four semester hours of college credit on an Andrews University transcript. Students are typically seniors, and must have a C or better in Biology I. Advanced Chemistry class is a college level chemistry class that exposes the student to an in-depth lab experience as well as a deeper understanding of chemistry. Students are typically seniors and must have taken Chemistry at Great Lakes Adventist Academy or have the permission of the instructor.
