GLAA's amateur radio station has a Kenwood TS-2000 transceiver, an Icom IC-229 transceiver, and some other borrowed transceivers. We use an MFJ antenna tuner to match an inverted vee antenna at about 35 feet. Our other antennas are a VHF and UHF dual band beam at about 30 feet, and a homebrew j-pole at about 25 feet. Directing the beam is a Yaesu G-5500 rotator with a USB controller.
Licensing class at Michigan Campmeeting 2007 We are currently operating FM, SSB, CW, PSK-31, RTTY, and VHF packet modes.
